Welcome to Loose in Lauriston by FreedomField.dog is Situated at 69B Lauriston Farm Road. EH4 5EX, Edinburgh.  With over 1 hectare of freedom for your dogs.

By booking and using our facilities at Loose in Lauriston, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

General

Freedom Field is a privately owned dog exercise field located in Silverknowes, Edinburgh (EH4 area). The field is accessible via bookings made exclusively through our website at freedomfield.dog.

These terms and conditions apply to all visitors, including dog owners and any accompanying persons.

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website.

Loose in Lauriston is a safe and peaceful retreat for everybody. Please give people and dogs plenty of space. Any disrespectful behaviour will result in refusal of future use. Please respect our neighbours’ privacy and try to keep any barking to a minimum.

Bookings

All bookings must be made in advance via our website.

Payment is required at the time of booking. Bookings are non-refundable but may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice, subject to availability.

Bookings are for exclusive use unless otherwise stated. Please adhere strictly to your allocated time slot to avoid overlap with other users. Please do not share your access code with anyone else. Please reset the code to 0000 when you leave.

Arriving late will not entitle you to additional time, and you must vacate the field promptly at the end of your session.

When You Arrive & Depart

There is a small parking area at the gate, local street parking is also available.  Please ensure the entrance gate is securely closed behind you when entering and leaving.

Please do not enter the field while somebody else is using it. If someone is using the field when your appointment starts, please let us know immediately using the contact number at the gate.

Check the field for any hazards before allowing your dog to roam freely. If you notice any issues, report them immediately by contacting us at support@freedom251238.live-website.com.

Please give plenty of space to previous users who may have reactive dogs.

Field Use and Responsibilities

All dogs must be supervised at all times. Owners are solely responsible for their dogs’ behaviour and any damage or injury caused by their dogs.

Dogs exhibiting aggressive behaviour must be controlled on a ratio of 1 to 1. The field is intended for safe, stress-free exercise and play for all dogs, especially reactive dogs.

Normal ratio is a maximum of 4 dogs to one adult and an overall maximum of 7. If you wish to share your booking with a friend it is your responsibility to ensure your friend read and agrees to these terms and conditions.

Owners must pick up and properly dispose of all dog waste using the bins provided.

The use of training aids, toys, or equipment is permitted but must not cause damage to the field or pose a hazard to other users. These must be removed when you leave.

Smoking, alcohol consumption, and the use of illegal substances are strictly prohibited on the premises.

Health and Welfare

All dogs using the field must be in good health and free from infectious diseases. Dogs displaying signs of illness, including coughing, vomiting, or diarrhoea, must not be brought to the field.

Ensure that your dog is up to date with vaccinations and flea treatments. While we take precautions to maintain a clean environment, we cannot guarantee it is free of pests or pathogens.

Safety

All visitors enter and use the field at their own risk. FreedomField.dog accepts no liability for personal injury, property damage, or loss incurred while using the facilities.

Ensure the gates are securely closed before allowing dogs off-lead. Do not allow dogs to dig holes or damage the fencing.

Dos and Don’ts

Dos:

• Do ensure the field gates are securely closed at all times.
• Do pick up after your dog and dispose of waste responsibly.
• Do supervise your dog closely, ensuring they behave appropriately.
• Check the fence for any damage or holes. We do check it daily but damage is possible overnight or during other users visits.

Don’ts:

• Don’t groom your dog on site.
• Don’t leave your dog unattended at any time.
• Don’t bring dogs in poor health or those in heat.

Prices

Prices for field use are listed on our website and may vary based on the duration and type of booking.

Payments must be made online during the booking process. Discounts may be available for regular users or block bookings; check our website for current offers.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule your booking. Late cancellations or no-shows will not be refunded or rescheduled.

In the unlikely event that Freedom Field needs to cancel a booking, we will provide a full refund or offer an alternative session.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

• Leaving dogs unattended.
• Bringing dogs known to be unwell or in heat.
• Commercial dog walking without prior approval.

Breach of these terms may result in the immediate termination of your session without a refund.

Liability

By booking and using Freedom Field, you agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from your use of the facilities.

Use of the field is entirely at your own risk. FreedomField.dog accepts no liability for the death of or any injury of any person or dog or for damage to any property. We also accept no liability for any losses, claims, actions, damages, costs, expenses or other liability incurred whilst onsite. Yours and your dogs’ behaviour and actions are your sole responsibility, and no claim can be made against Loose in Lauriston or FreedomField.dog or any stakeholders.

You are liable for any damage caused inside and outside of the field by you, your dog(s) or any person in your party. All dogs must be covered under their own third-party insurance (public liability insurance). This is usually included in your pet insurance.

Privacy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. Any information collected during the booking process will be used solely for administrative purposes and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
